How much does website maintenance cost a month?
Basic maintenance is from 990 Kč/mo (backups, updates, security), Standard 2 900 Kč/mo and the Extended tier 4 500 Kč/mo. One-off interventions and incidents are by the hour. We propose the right tier after a consultation; the full price list is set out separately.
Is SEO included in website maintenance?
No. Website maintenance is technical care of the running: updates, backups, security and uptime. Growth in search rankings is handled by SEO management, which is a different service. A fast, secure site helps SEO, but maintenance on its own does not raise rankings.
Do you maintain a site you didn’t build?
Yes. After an initial check of the site we take it into care, whether it runs on WordPress, another CMS or is custom-built. The check shows us what needs sorting at once and what is ongoing.
How quickly will you make a minor edit?
Minor edits (text, an image, a contact) are handled within the fee and we respond quickly. Larger changes we estimate in advance, so you know what to expect. On the higher tiers, edits take priority.
What if the site breaks after an update?
Before every change we back the site up and we test the updates. If something breaks anyway, that’s on us — we fix it. That’s why we don’t update blind, but follow the process backup → update → check.
Do you only maintain WordPress?
No. WordPress is what we maintain most often, but we also look after other CMSs and custom-built sites. We maintain what we understand, and because we build sites ourselves, it’s not just one system.
Do the backups and access belong to me?
Yes. Hosting, the domain, the backups and all access stay yours. You can take the maintenance back from us at any time or hand it on — no vendor lock-in.
Do I even need maintenance if the site works?
A site works until a vulnerability appears, a plugin licence expires or something breaks after an update. Maintenance is prevention of these situations: it deals with them before they cost you visitors or data.
