Website redesign.

Modernising an outdated website — a new look, speed and mobile without losing your rankings in search. From 19 900 Kč.

Signals

When it’s time for a redesign

A redesign is not worth doing just “because it has been a while”. Here are the signals that an old site genuinely pays to rebuild.

  1. The site looks dated

The look no longer represents the company

A design from another era erodes trust before anyone reads what you do. The competition looks more modern — and that decides it.

  2. Broken on mobile, slow to load

You lose people on mobile and on speed

Most people search from a phone today. A slow site or a broken layout means the visitor leaves before the page even loads.

  3. The site brings no customers

The company has moved on, the site has not

You offer more than you used to, but the site does not show it — or it has simply stopped bringing enquiries. The point of a redesign is not pixels, but results.

What you get

A new look and engine

A redesign is not a repaint. We change two layers at once: how the site looks and how it works under the bonnet.

A new look

  • A bespoke designA visual built around your company, not a recoloured template.
  • A clear structureWe arrange the content so a visitor finds what they came for — and gets all the way to an enquiry.
  • Mobile firstWe design from mobile up — that’s where most people search today.

The engine under the bonnet

  • Speed and Core Web VitalsA faster site keeps visitors and ranks higher. You can measure the speed of the new site straight in your browser.
  • Content management system (CMS)You change the content, photos and prices yourself, with no developer.
  • SEO groundwork and AI readinessSemantic code and structured data — the new site is read straight away by Google, Seznam and AI search.
  • Analytics set upGA4 and Search Console, so you see where enquiries come from. Optionally without a cookie banner, GDPR-compliant.

How it works

How a redesign runs

A few clear steps for you. The audit, migration, technical side and measurement are on us.

Audit of the current site

What works and we keep, what holds it back and we rebuild — look, technical side, content and rankings.

Structure proposal

How the content is arranged and the URL map, before any design.

A custom design

You approve the new visual in advance.

Build and migration

We build the new site and set up 301 redirects from the old addresses.

Launch and indexing check

We launch the site, send the sitemap and confirm the search engines read the new version.

Tracking after launch

We watch rankings and traffic after the move — a redesign does not end at launch.

No loss of rankings

Migration without losing rankings

The costliest mistake in a redesign is losing the organic traffic you built over years. Without a proper migration a site can drop by tens of percent for months after the move. So we handle the migration step by step, and SEO is part of the redesign with us, not an extra supplier.

  • Mapping the URLsWe list every existing address and find which pages bring traffic and links.
  • 301 redirectsFrom each old address we point a permanent redirect to the new one — the page’s strength is carried over, not discarded.
  • Keeping the structureWhat works, we keep — headings, content and internal links are carried across, not rewritten from scratch.
  • Sitemap and Search ConsoleWe send the new sitemap to Google and Seznam and watch the indexing.
  • Tracking after launchWe measure rankings and traffic after the move too — any wobble we catch in time.

We don’t guard rankings with a promise, but with a process — through 301 redirects and Search Console you see how the site is doing.

Price

What a redesign costs

The price is not set by the number of pages, but by the scale of the change and the complexity of the migration. The starting price is from 19 900 Kč: a restyle of up to ~5–6 pages with no change to the structure, including content migration and 301 redirects; higher with the scope.

from 19 900 Website redesign

What pushes the price up

  • “From” applies to a restyle of up to ~5–6 pages with no change to the structure; a change of structure or a move to another system = a new-site quote + migration
  • Scope and number of pages — how many addresses are rebuilt and migrated
  • A bespoke design vs. a tweak — a new visual built to measure, or modernising the existing one
  • The old platform and moving the content — what we move the site from and how technically complex it is
  • Features and integrations — forms, bookings, a CRM link, multiple languages
  • Content — we keep the text, or we rewrite and prepare it

Why Svitano

Why Svitano

Behind every redesign are years of experience with both development and SEO. We do the redesign and the migration ourselves, not two suppliers where one breaks what the other built.

  1. Web and SEO in one pair of hands

The new look and carrying rankings across are handled together, from the ground up — no handover between a designer and an SEO consultant.

  2. Rankings guarded by a process, not a promise

We run the migration transparently through 301 redirects and Search Console — you always see how the site is doing after the move.

  3. Backups and security from day one

We back the old site up first, and every change can be safely rolled back through Git. We also put protection from bots and brute-force in place.

  4. The website is entirely yours

The decision

Redesign, or a new site?

It depends on what holds up and what doesn’t. When the foundation works — the structure makes sense, the technology isn’t at the end of the road and the content can be kept — we modernise what you have and carry your rankings across. When the foundation doesn’t hold — an old platform, technical debt, a site built quite differently from what you need today — it pays to build a new one. After the consultation we tell you straight which is worth it; if it’s rather a new website build, we point you there.

A redesign does not mean starting from zero on Google — we carry rankings across, not throw them away.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

When is it time for a website redesign?

When the site looks dated, doesn’t work well on mobile, loads slowly, enquiries are falling, or the company has moved on and the site doesn’t reflect it. Often several signals come together; at the consultation we go through them and tell you whether a tweak is enough or a redesign makes sense.

How much does a website redesign cost?

The starting price is from 19 900 Kč, which applies to a restyle of up to ~5–6 pages with no change to the structure; content migration and 301 redirects are included. With a change of structure or a move to another system we price it as a new site + migration. You get an exact quote after a free consultation; the full price list is set out separately.

A redesign, or rather a new site?

It depends on whether the foundation holds. When the structure and content make sense and only the look or technology has aged, we modernise what you have. When the platform is at the end of the road or you need the site to work quite differently, it pays to build a new one. We advise after an audit.

Won’t I lose my Google and Seznam rankings in the redesign?

With a proper migration, no. We redirect every old address with a permanent 301 to the new one, keep the structure and content, send the new sitemap and watch rankings in Search Console. Without a migration a site usually drops after the move, which is why SEO is part of the redesign with us, not an extra charge.

How long does a redesign take?

Usually 2–4 weeks, depending on the size of the site, the number of pages to migrate and how quickly we get your materials.

Do I keep my content and domain?

Yes. The domain is yours and stays; the content is kept and carried over (and rewritten and improved on request). The old site is also backed up first.

What will you build the new site on?

It depends on the goal: from a content management system you run yourself to custom development (WordPress, Astro, a headless CMS). We recommend the technology after a consultation, not blind.

Do you also do SEO after a redesign?

Yes — we can follow the redesign with ongoing SEO, so the rankings not only hold after the move but grow. The SEO groundwork, though, is part of the redesign from the start.
